Day 1

You arrive in Motala and collect your bikes and map at the Svecia Travel office, then cycle along the Göta Canal out of Motala. We recommend lunch at the cozy Mallboden in the old Motala Verkstad, which you pass along the way. You cycle on the northern side of Lake Boren and have a beautiful view of the ruins of Saint Bridget’s home and Ulvåsa Castle.

Upon arrival at Högby Spa (after approx. 14 km), you check in and enjoy a relaxing spa day. You have access to the spa area with tea and a fruit buffet. Towels and bathrobes are included. In the afternoon, a nice afternoon coffee break awaits, followed by a delicious three-course dinner in the evening. (Please note: Age limit 15 years in the spa)

Day 2

After breakfast, you cycle to Borensberg, approx. 5.5 km. You will also have time for a bike ride along the Göta Canal. We recommend a visit to Brunneby Musteri, where you receive a 10% discount. You then leave the bikes at Kaffeteriet in Borensberg guest harbour no later than 12:40 and travel with M/S Kung Sverker back to Motala at 13:10. During this lovely boat trip across Lake Boren, through the Borenshult locks and the Göta Canal, you will have lunch on board. You arrive at Motala harbour at 15:30 and check in at Hotel Nostalgi. Motala offers a nice selection of shops, restaurants and pubs.

Day 3

After breakfast, you check out. If you have not yet visited the Motor Museum, it is a nice way to end your visit.
