Day 1

You arrive in Motala and collect your bikes, directions, and map at Svecia Travels’ office on Poppelgatan 8. Then you cycle along the Göta Canal out of Motala. We recommend lunch at the cosy Café Mallboden in the old Motala Workshop area, which you'll pass along the way. You ride along the north side of Lake Boren with a beautiful view of the ruins of Saint Birgitta’s home and Ulvåsa Castle. Once at Högby Spa (after approx. 14 km), you check in and enjoy a relaxing spa day. Access to the spa area, including tea and fruit buffet, is included, as well as towel and bathrobe rental. In the afternoon, you’ll enjoy a nice coffee break followed by a delicious 3-course dinner in the evening.

Day 2

After breakfast, cycle to Borensberg, about 5.5 km. You also have time to cycle along the classic Göta Canal. We recommend visiting Brunneby Musteri, where you receive a 10% discount. Return the bikes at Kaffeteriet in Borensberg harbour no later than 13:00. Then board M/S Kung Sverker at 13:30 for your return journey to Motala. A lunch will be served onboard, and you'll enjoy a beautiful boat trip across Lake Boren, through the Borenshult locks and along the Göta Canal. You arrive at Motala harbour at 15:30 and check in at Hotell Nostalgi. Motala offers a nice selection of shops, restaurants, and pubs. Don’t forget to visit the Motala Motor Museum located in the harbour.

Day 3

After breakfast, check out. If you haven’t yet visited the Motor Museum, it’s a great way to end your visit!
