Exploring the Göta Canal in your own boat is something many people dream of. But what if you don’t have the opportunity to own a boat? We have the solution!
You can choose from nine different boats, three of which are fully electric! All boats have their home port in Motala, and from there you can choose between three different routes with varying levels of difficulty. You and your party operate the boat yourselves, and there are no formal requirements for a boating licence. However, you do need to have some nautical knowledge and experience.
How does it work?
Start by reading about the different options below. You can also see which dates are available for booking and the prices. All prices include both the boat rental and the canal ticket for travelling on the Göta Canal.
Then simply proceed with your booking and pay online. Your booking confirmation and all the information you need will be sent to you by email. After that, all that’s left to do is start counting down to a journey you’ll remember for a long time!
