Day 1
Arrive at the hotel in the morning and leave your luggage at the reception. The classic Göta Hotell is located just a few steps from the Göta Canal and was built in 1908. At Göta Hotell you will collect your picnic lunch packages and then walk towards Kaffeteriet in Borensberg harbour where you will pick up your bicycles and cycling map from 10:00 am. We recommend a cycling trip along the Göta Canal to Brunneby Musteri, which offers a wide range of local Östergötland products and their special cider. The package includes a 10% discount in the farm shop. If you would like to cycle further, you can continue to the Berg Locks. Back in Borensberg, you return the bicycles at Kaffeteriet, and at the hotel there is time to relax and enjoy something to drink on the terrace before it is time for a delicious three-course dinner in the hotel restaurant.
Day 2
The next day after breakfast, we recommend visiting Borensberg’s cosy shops. Here you can buy everything from Italian delicacies and heavenly chocolate sauce to flowers. Take the opportunity to see the hand-operated lock and find something nice in the hotel’s own small gift shop, where you also receive a 10% discount.
The package includes overnight accommodation with breakfast at Göta Hotell in Borensberg in a shared double room, a three-course dinner at Göta Hotell excluding drinks, one picnic lunch package from Göta Hotell, one day bicycle rental and a cycling map. Free parking at the hotel is included, as well as a 10% discount at Brunneby Musteri and Götas Prylbod.
