At 10:30 a.m., you’ll board the heritage-listed canal boat M/S Viktoria in Söderköping.We’ll travel along the Göta Canal, passing through two locks before reaching the inner archipelago and continuing our journey towards Stegeborg Castle Ruins.
During the cruise, enjoy a delicious lunch surrounded by beautiful scenery and stories from the canal’s fascinating history.Once we arrive at Stegeborg, you’ll have time to take a short guided walk through the ruins and listen to tales from centuries past.
Lunch can be pre-ordered when booking, with two main course options:
- Viktoria’s Game Roast from Östergötland, served with boiled potatoes, gluten-free cream sauce, salad, and jelly from Fängtorp Farm. Beverage included.
- Viktoria’s Cured Salmon, served with boiled potatoes, mustard-dill sauce, and salad. Beverage included.
If you prefer not to pre-order, you’re welcome to choose from a wider menu onboard, including starters, other main courses, vegetarian/vegan dishes, and desserts.A full bar service is available.
