We serve fresh and well-prepared food with both meat and fish dishes. At our outdoor terrace, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Motala harbor area and see when pleasure boats enter the locks and when King Sverker takes the tourists from the harbor, via the canal, out into Lake Boren. In summer, we also have live music on our outdoor terrace.

The houses are old lock keeper's residences, one house is from 1883 and is built entirely of stone, while the other house is made of wood with plaster on the outside and is from 1922. The work of the lock keeper was a hard round-the-clock job. He was never allowed to be further from his station than he could serve arriving ships, he would also look after the lock, the bridge and ensure that the canal area looked tidy.
