Crash Nomada
Crash Nomada has been praised for their unique blend of punk and folk music from different parts of the world.
Product description
After 15 years of playing in Sweden and Europe, they are one of the more established bands in the folk punk genre and have a solid reputation as a danceable and explosive live act. They have been compared to bands such as Gogol Bordello, Levellers and Mano Negra, but they also carry a post-punk darkness that brings to mind bands such as Imperiet and New Model Army. However, it is a darkness that is filled with hope, warmth and community.
With their roots in Sweden and their hearts in the whole world, they move seamlessly between boot punk, ballads, folk metal and 80s-scented post-punk, but above all they land in their danceable and pumping folk punk. The music is fueled by virtuoso violin and accordion drives, a pulsating rhythm section and raw organic electric guitar. It is heavy, mysterious, swinging and danceable. It is music that unites and purifies, music filled with hope, community, catharsis and raw energy. The lyrics cut right through the present and connect to our history. Hope-inspiring wisdom from subversive and spiritual underground traditions is mixed with civilizational criticism and social commitment.
Prepare yourself for a discharge of danceable and electrified folk punk from one of Sweden's wildest live bands.
The show starts at 7:00 PM but we open already at 3:00 PM. Free seating. Come in good time. Food, beer, wine and non-alcoholic options are served.
