STF Borensberg Glasbruket

In a fantastic environment in the small community Borensberg, between Linköping and Motala, located on a quiet peninsula between the Göta Kanal and Motala Ström you will find STF Glasbruket.

Product description

In Borensberg, one of Sweden's richest crayfish fishing waters, lies STF Glasbruket. The classic glassworks started its bottling production in 1900. The buildings were once homes for the families who worked at the Glassworks and are located just over 1 kilometer from the locks and the small seaside town of Borensberg. The unique turn of the century has been recreated and today you will find a café and hostel in the renovated buildings.

We offer beautiful and functional guest rooms of various sizes. There are also apartments with TV, private bathroom and kitchen. Our rooms and apartments are named after one or more people who have had great historical significance for Glasbruket. We serve a delicious breakfast buffet with local products and some from our own kitchen garden.

During the summer there is a café. Here we serve homemade, ice cream, simple dishes, locally produced drinks from Brunneby musteri and coffee of course! You can also order our delicious sandwich cakes and exotic trays.

In the lovely outdoor environment there are plenty of activities for every season. The hostel has bicycles, kayaks and canoes for rent and in the evening you can relax in the wood-fired sauna and maybe take a swim in Motala stream. In the garden you will find a barbecue area.

We are a perfect location for conferences and groups, with various activities in the middle of nature along the Göta Kanal. We have a conference room that can accommodate about 30-40 people. We offer accommodation, lunch, dinner, coffee, breakfast and activities. If the weather is nice you can sit outside in the lovely garden or why not rake a walk along the Göta Kanal.

Check-in is between 3 pm and 6 pm.

Welcome!
