The sculpture Vattentrappa (Water Stairway)
At the shipyard basin in Sjötorp stands the large sculpture Water Stairs by Bengt Olsson.
Product description
The sculpture was unveiled at the 175th anniversary in Sjötorp in 2007. It is erected in memory of the 58,000 people who dug the Göta canal, from Sjötorp to Mem, in the years 1810 to 1832. The sculpture consists of Bohus granite blocks.
