Guided Tour of the State Apartments at Löfstad Castle (Swedish)
Miss Emilie passed away in 1926 and wished for her home to be preserved and opened to the public. Here, you’ll find around 34,000 objects – and just as many stories. At Löfstad, you can experience a genuine noble home curated over centuries. Learn about the long history of the castle and its family. On this tour, you’ll see the state apartments, from the serving room to the grand salon and Miss Emilie’s private quarters, filled with curious objects.

March 22 – June 15
Open weekends and public holidays. Castle shop open 11:00–16:00.
Tours of the castle: 12:00, 13:00 and 14:00.

Open daily. Castle shop open 11:00–16:00.

Midsummer Eve June 20
Open with celebrations in the park and tours every half hour. Castle shop open 10:45–16:00.

Tickets are purchased online or at the Castle shop before the tour. Tickets can be purchased online up to the day before the tour. If you wish to buy a ticket on the same day, please refer to the Castle shop. Opening hours for the Castle shop may vary, see current opening hours on the website.
Should a tour need to be cancelled at short notice, you will be notified and your money will be refunded. If you are already there, you will also be offered a place at another time.
There is a toilet at the bottom of the hill before you get to the castle.
An elevator for walkers and wheelchairs is only available to the second floor.
