The town of Berg outside Linköping is perhaps best known for its locks, which consist of a lock staircase and two double locks. Hundreds of thousands of visitors from all over the world come here every year to experience when boats are sluiced through the canal.

The resort also offers several activities. Experience the wings of history with a visit to Vreta Kloster, which is a Benedictine nunnery from the 12th century. Berg is also a perfect location for an adventure on the lake, as several canal cruises depart daily to nearby islands and resorts.
