Karlsborg guest harbour - a bustling canal harbour
The canal harbour in Karlsborg is one of the Göta Canal's largest, and in the summertime it teems with both people and boats here.

In the popular guest harbour in Karlsborg, there are a total of 50 guest harbour spaces inside and outside the road bridge.
- 35 places with electricity are inside the road bridge, 20 places on the south side and 15 places on the north side
- 15 places without electricity are outside the road bridge, in Vättern east of the canal bridge
- Please note that the local sailing club CSS also has a guest harbour in Karlsborg, but it is not included in the canal fee.
Guest harbour amenities including toilets, showers and a laundry are located on the north side of the harbour. By the south quay there is a marine filling station with petrol, diesel and environmentally friendly alkylate petrol.
Things to see and do by the harbour
Karlsborg is a lively guest harbour with restaurants , cafés, mini golf, a tourist office and many visitors every summer. The biggest attraction is Karlsborg Fortress , offering action-packed guided tours and gold hunts for children, about 1 km from the guest harbour.

- 5 days in the guest harbor are included for boats with a ticket for the Göta Canal. For nights in addition, and for boats without a valid canal ticket, the cost is 240 SEK/night or 1200 SEK/week.
