Guest harbour in the canal town of Forsvik

The small town of Forsvik is a real canal classic. Here is the Göta Canal's oldest lock from 1813, and the guest harbour is just below.

Product description

In Forsvik's guest harbour, which is located just below the Göta Canal's oldest lock, there are 14 berths and 14 10A electric outlets. Additionally, there are 5 guest berths without electricity above the lock, on Lake Viken. The guest harbour amenities facility is located on the north side, in the same building as the canal office from where the lock keepers operate Forsvik's bridge.

Things to see and do by the harbour
In the small canal community there are, among other things, the Forsvik mill with exhibitions and SMOFA, Skaraborg's Music and Film Academy, which puts on a large number of performances during the summer.
On the quay at the guest harbour lies the unmanned grocery store 24 SJU and next to the lock you will find the canal shop Canal shop 5 knots. Just next door is also Forsviks Café och Mat, which serves homemade food in the garden right next to the canal.
