Day 1
Töreboda - Tåtorp - Töreboda (bike ride 34 km)
Your adventure starts in Töreboda, in the middle of the west part of Göta canal. You will start your journey to Tåtorp, here you find the only hand-operated lock on the western part of Göta Canal and the highest point of the canal, Lanthöjden. Then it’s time to go back to Töreboda. Back in Töreboda, you will stay overnight in a boardinghouse called Prästgården and the dinner will be served in Prästgården´s garden café.
Day 2.
Töreboda - Sjötorp - Töreboda (bike ride 40 km)
Today you are going from Töreboda to Sjötorp (return). Here you will pass 16 locks along Göta canal. When you arrive in Sjötorp you will be served lunch at Café Baltzar in Sjötorp. To know a little more about how the canal was built, you get access to the canal museum located at Sjötorp's harbor. After the visit in Sjötorp, it is time for go back to Töreboda. The dinner and the overnight will be at the same boardinghouse as day 1.
Day 3
Töreboda - Gullspång (Trolley)
This is your last day of your holiday with an adventurous trolley ride along the rails along the Gullspångälven. Between Töreboda and Gullspång it is about 40 km and takes about 1 hour by car. You choose how long and how far you want to pedal on the trolley. This day you get a lunch in a lunch package.
You can choose between two different distances.
- Torvedsbanan, southward, 20 km (one way)
- Otterbäcksbanan, northward, 40km (Terminus: Degerfors)
This is included:
- 2 overnights at a boardinghouse named Prästgården.
- 1 lunch at Café Baltzar
- 2 packages of lunch from Prästgården
- 2 dinner ( 1 course/each day) no beverage included.
