Hjälmare Canal locking
Experience Sweden's oldest navigable canal - the link between Hjälmaren and Mälaren. The journey by boat goes through the canal from Gravudden at Arbogaån to Notholmen in Hjälmaren and you pass nine locks on the way.

Today, the Hjälmare Canal is an attractive destination and is primarily used by pleasure boats but also by passenger boats that make regular trips during the summer season.
Boats larger than 12 meters must notify their arrival bokning@hjalmarekanal.se
