Vreta Klosterbryggeri beer tasting
Enhance your visit along the Göta Canal with a beer tasting at one of Sweden's more unique and currently most popular breweries. At Vreta Kloster Brewery, beer is produced that is currently brewed by monks in Belgium - in other words, only Belgian-style beer. Several of our beers have won some of the most prestigious international awards available - in competition with breweries from Belgium and around the world.
Product description
The price includes a tasting tray of four of our beers (1dl/beer) and a sampler plate with a mix of goodies that go great with our beer. Our knowledgeable staff will give a short introduction to the brewery and the beer served - then you will have time to enjoy the beer on your own. It is also possible to buy another sample tray and additional snacks - but this is ordered and paid for on site. We have both outdoor and indoor seating.
Our taproom is open from June 27 to August 12 between 14.00-19.00 on the following days:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Sunday and Monday: Closed
Beer tasting time you can choose between 14:00 and 15:00.
Vreta Kloster brewery is a 25-minute walk or 7 minutes by bike from the Bergs locks. Part of the way you can walk/cycle along the canal.
