Restaurant KanalKrogen i Sjötorp has a lot to offer. It is a nice place to visit if you want to eat, drink, or have a coffee by the harbour where Göta kanal meets Vänern.

The restaurant serves traditional Swedish dishes, à la carte, burgers and pizza. Live entertainment on some evenings in the summer. The café serves sandwiches, ice cream and cakes.

Facts

Sjötorp is an idyllic place in the summertime, and its locks are a popular tourist attraction. In the harbour you will find a Canal- and maritime museum, a motor museum and the tourist agency. In the evening you can eat in one of the restaurants while enjoying the sun setting over the lake Vänern. The old road along Göta Canal has become a popular cycling path.
