Motala pontoon Bridge

In earlier days, a chain ferry crossed the canal at Motala Verkstad. Passengers were charged a fare of three öre. In the 1930s, the ferry was replaced by a bridge which was given the name ”Treöresbron”.

Built: 1930s

Technical facts: Treöresbron is a floating or pontoon bridge which is operated manually. It has a deck of timber and is only for the use of pedestrians and cyclists.
