Göta Canal marina - Berg upper

The Berg Upper Marina is right above The Carl Johan flight of locks in Berg, the most famous and longest flight in the Canal. The boats being raised and lowered over 18 metres to bridge the difference to Lake Roxen.


The locks in Berg are Göta Canals biggest attraction which draws thousands of spectators. There are restaurants, cafés, adventure golf, hostel with bicycle rental etc. in the area. 

The passenger boat M/S Wasa Lejon make trips everyday on Göta Canal from here.

5 days in the guest harbor are included for boats with a ticket for the Göta Canal. For nights in addition, and for boats without a valid canal ticket, the cost is 225 SEK/night or 1170 SEK/week.
