Rotkilen Bridge

The dwelling was built in 1901, while parts of the barn date from the 1860s. In 1905, the bridgekeeper at Rotkilen had an income of 217 crowns a year, but he also had various “fringe benefits”. The bridgekeeper and his family were allowed to farm a piece of land and also received 17 cubic metres of wood. Use of various buildings was also part of the privileges.
