Karlsborg Bridge

Originally, people crossed the canal at Rödesund by a ferry. In 1848, this was replaced by a rolling bridge, which in turn was replaced in the 1940s by a bascule bridge. Today's bridge dates from as recently as 1987.

Opening hours
The bridge opens every half an hour during the canal's peak season, except noon, 1 PM and 4 PM on weekdays. The las bridge opening is att 6 PM.
