'Å/S Forsvik' is Sweden's oldest original sloop. She was built at Lindahl & Runer in Gävle 1867 and was given the name David. The steam engine is 5 hp strong and got the nickname *The coffee burner'.
In the beginning she was in passenger traffic on Gavleån. She has also freighted ore, tugging timber, 'slept' for forty years in a boathouse, been rediscovered and again got in passenger traffic. 1997 she was deposed to Föreningen Forsviks Varv
