The Göta Canal stretches from Mem on an inlet of the Baltic near Söderköping, through Lake Vättern to Sjötorp on Lake Vänern. Together with the Trollhätte Canal, the Göta Canal forms a continuous waterway through Sweden from coast to coast.
Not much surpasses gliding serenely along the Göta Canal on a summer’s evening, enjoying a good meal and the beautiful scenery. Travelling by Göta Canal passenger boat is a wonderful memory for life.
